Therapy Should Be A Place for Comfort and Challenge
Virtual Trauma-Informed Therapy for Adolescents & Adults in Colorado
Beginning therapy can feel a bit daunting - fear of being judged, misunderstood or disappointed. So often, we spend our day-to-day living on a seesaw of dysregulation and fear of the unknown. We develop these ways of survival from a young age and lose track of what safety can feel like.
Together, we will start to explore the impacts of the symptoms you are experiencing and create a treatment plan based on your goals and values. Weaving together interventions from EMDR, CBT, ACT, and IFS to assess the patterns that we so often feel safe in despite how we may be functioning.
There is often fear of the deepest parts of us that we try to hide and shy away from, but together we will begin to accept all parts and the purpose they tend to be seeking.

Hi, I’m Carleigh!
At its core, my approach is rooted in connection and relationships. As your therapist, I value being fully present, understanding, and authentic as I get to know you and your goals. When working with individuals, I hold the belief that we are all experts in our own experiences. From there, we can begin to explore the roots of our stories and the patterns that may have kept us feeling stuck or caught in unhelpful cycles.
I hold a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Ethnic Studies from University of Colorado Boulder. I began my therapy career working in a nonprofit setting, providing high-quality trauma treatment to low-income children, families, and adults. Through this work, I discovered a deep passion for building therapeutic relationships that feel safe, engaging, and real.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), an EMDR certified therapist, as well as a certified FirstPlay practitioner. I utilize EMDR in sessions along with interventions and ideas from ACT, CBT and IFS.
As a clinician who came to this work through my own experiences with therapy, I approach the therapeutic relationship with a commitment to honesty, humor, and hope.
